iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a 48 MP ultra-wide camera
Apple is rumored to be planning a major upgrade to the camera system of the iPhone 16 Pro Max, with analyst Ming-Chi Kuo saying the phone will feature a new 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a wider aperture of f/1.8. This would be a significant improvement over the current 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, which has an f/2.4 aperture.
The wider aperture will allow iPhone 16 Pro Max to capture more light, resulting in brighter, clearer images in low-light conditions. It also allows for a shallower depth of field, which can be used to create more dramatic portraits with a blurred background.
According to rumors, the iPhone 16 Pro Max will feature a new 48 MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom in addition to an improved ultra-wide camera. This would be a significant improvement over the current 12MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.
