The scheduled launch of the secretive X-37B space plane aboard c's Falcon Heavy rocket has been postponed to December 11.

The scheduled launch of the US Space Force X-37B Space Plane has been delayed until December 11.

Due to unfavorable weather conditions, the planned launch of the X-37B space plane, carried by a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket, by the United States Space Force has been rescheduled from December 10 to December 11.

Introducing the X-37B, an unmanned spaceplane that has been ingeniously engineered to undertake extensive missions in the vast expanse of low-Earth orbit. This groundbreaking spacecraft marks the United States' triumphant return to launching spaceplanes, a feat not accomplished since bidding farewell to the Space Shuttle in 2011.

The purpose of the X-37B's missions is undisclosed, although it is speculated that the spaceplane is utilized to evaluate innovative space technologies. These missions typically endure for multiple months, and there have been instances where the spaceplane has maintained its orbital presence for a staggering 780 days.

While the delay in launching the X-37B is a small obstacle, it is unlikely to greatly affect the mission as a whole. The spaceplane is still scheduled for launch later this week and will proceed with its undisclosed objectives once it reaches orbit.

The United States Space Force greatly values the X-37B as a valuable resource. This remarkable spacecraft offers a flexible and adaptable platform that enables the Space Force to test cutting-edge technologies and carry out extended missions in the vast expanse of space. The successful launch and mission of the spaceplane serve as a powerful testament to the Space Force's unwavering dedication to upholding a robust presence in the cosmos.
